'If artist-teachers model the essential qualities of self esteem in their lives, this will result in deeper creativity, more satisfaction in their careers and greatly enhanced value for their students.'

Eugene Skeef - Meet Me At The River: Ukuzwana Kwezizwe

'A significant part of my work takes me to parts of the world that are plagued by violent conflict. This activity is a song inspired by the need for reducing conflict through creative initiatives that actively promote opportunities for increasing harmony between individuals and communities.'

Kings Lynn Arts Centre - Arts And Well-Being: 'This Is What Made Us'

Recast helped to deliver this project that provided opportunities for young carers and young care-leavers in West Norfolk to access and engage in a range of arts activity through a dedicated programme tailored specifically for their interests, needs and circumstances. The first of these projects, collaboratively titled 'This is what made us', took place towards the end of 2015 and involved exciting and inspiring creative sessions that culminated in a celebratory showcase demonstrating singing, songwriting, clowning, drama, live interviews, dancing and serious fun!

Jesse Barrett - Improvising On Drum Set: Loving Your Limitations

'Expressing yourself musically on the drums can be very simple. It can also be fraught, with self-doubt being the main bar to freely enjoying your own musical expressions. A starting point that is focused on the development of musical expression will exercise a student's heuristic powers, harnessing the more powerful impulsive aspects of the brain that can operate as meta-functions free from doubt; like walking, breathing, singing or dancing.'
