Wheatfen Nature Reserve - Autumn Water Listening Sound-Walk - 26.9.20
Hidden away near Surlingham in the heart of the Broads, Wheatfen is a magical nature reserve backing onto the River Yare. This Sound-Walk will focus on listening to the sounds of water both above and below the surface. The walk will enable you to tune into the usually secret underwater sound-world of the reserve, and explore how water shapes its entire soundscape.
These walks are open to all.
Children (under 16) must be accompanied by an adult
What to bring:
Please feel free to bring your own listening equipment. A range of recorders and microphones will be will be made available as part of the walk.
Please meet at the visitor centre.
Will involve a guided walk around the reserve with frequent stops.
Be prepared to listen.
