In a secluded garden next to the Octagon Chapel in Norwich we chatted, accompanied by 'O', the HomeSounds DIY binaural head, who was listening to, and capturing the conversation for us. These extracts are taken from that conversation.
Oliver is an artist working with sound and kinetic sculpture; a founder of Eastern Ear, the Norwich-based organisation dedicated on producing events, workshops and opportunities focused on sonic art and new music; and is Programme Manager at the Disability Arts charity, Musical Keys. Oliver has been using field recording in all areas of his art and professional work since domestic recorders first appeared, most recently having audio work exhibited in Portugal, Brussels and Berlin.
Listen with headphones if possible. Follow this link to visit the garden.
